I have been saving this glorious wedding to be my first post of 2018, it's just such a wonderful day filled with spectacular flowers that were perfectly proportioned and sensitively created to be complimentary to our beautiful Bride and Groom, their fabulous families and friends and their quintessentially British venues, everything enhanced the celebrations without over powering or being distracting, every credit to Natalie & James for having such a perfect vision for their day...![]()

James & Natalie had put together a stunning mood board to help to guide us and inspire us, to ensure we understood their intentions and their dreams for the perfect wedding day.
We invited them back to FD HQ to view a set of sample bridal designs created exclusively for Natalie and her gorgeous Mum to see they were all made to fit their brief and their budget
An idea for table designs that would double as church pedestals
At last the big day arrived and our gorgeous bouquets of Peonies, Roses, Hydrangeas, Lily of the Valley, Freesia & Sweet Peas were all boxed up and ready for presentation to the lovely Natalie and her Bridesmaids
Jason showed Natalie how to carry her bouquet perfectly
Natalie 'Bride's Squad' were given our special tutorial too
Jason headed off to St Peter's Church in Mawdsley to set up flowers for the ceremony and to meet up with James and his Groom's Men to pin on their Boutonnieres
One of our fabulously luscious Floral Hearts dressed the front door, creating a warm welcome for the guests as they arrived at Church

A stunning Heart of Peonies, Dahlias, Roses, Jasmine and Hydrangeas in soft shdes of blush pink and ivory the fragrance was heavenly I can smell them now as I type...![]()

Inside this super traditional Church we decorated each alternate pew end lining the aisle leading to the altar
Gorgeous English Garden Flowers looked wonderful on top of our pedestals stands and urns framing the altar perfectly
We'd used fresh Stocks, Larkspur, Hydrangeas, Roses, Peonies, Jasmine, Dahlias and a fresh fragrant foliages and Herbs
The FD box filled with boutonnieres and corsages were all ready for Jason to present to our Bride Groom James and his party
Natalie's super handsome Bride Groom James was first to have his Boutonniere pinned to his lapel
We'd created the Boutonniere using a combination of Roses we'd included in Natalie's Wedding Bouquet: Sweet Avalanche, Bubbles, Bombastic and Rolled Keira with a floret of White Hydrangea, Thalaspi and framed with Ivy Leaves the boutonniere was then bound with navy blue satin ribbon to compliment his waistcoat and jacket
Jason pinned on all of the boutonnieres ensuring each one was positioned perfectly

Next to arrive our gorgeous Bridesmaids and the heavenly Bride's Mum Teen, the blush pink colour scheme was so pretty our lovely bouquets of Peonies and Roses looked perfect
The adorable little Page Boy Ralph complete with a miniature boutonniere of Rose buds
The Bridesmaid's Bouquets were created as smaller simpler versions of the Bridal Bouquet we included both Pink & Ivory Peonies, Roses: Sweet Avalanche, Bubbles, Bombastic and Keira, fresh fragrant Misty Sweet Peas, Lily of the Valley and Freesia all in gentle blush pink and ivory shades

Inside this magnificent marquee we'd dressed the tables with a combination of high and low table designs our tall and magnificent country garden designs were set on our transparent column vases

The top table design looked clean and elegant, posies of fresh garden blooms placed in mini column vases to match the tall column vases on the dining tables, we arranged tea light votives and floating candles all set on a row of reflective mirrors visually increasing their volume
The wedding cake was so lovely, created by the Bride's cousin Chloe we'd dressed it with a simple posy of fresh Peonies in shades of pink and ivory
The Bride's Bouquet was placed to the side of the cake and completed the table beautifully
The Floral Heart was placed just behind the top table and looked heavenly
The beautiful tableware charger plates and glassware were provided by Whitehouse Event Crockery Hire
Our lovely and talented friend Robin from DFC Lancashire was hosting the proceedings and along with his team were providing all of the entertainment
