A heavenly wedding day for such a fabulous family, we have been lucky enough to provide wedding flowers for both of Robin's fabulous brothers, fondly referred to as "Lurch & "Mincemeat" and performing as Best Men for this very special occasion, it's always an absolute privilege and pleasure to work with this family for their weddings and oh what a joy it was....

We tracked our gorgeous Bride the lovely Melanie down at The Millstone in Mellor where the Bridal party were all getting ready
These gorgeous girls didn't really need the wedding bouquet holding lesson, they're all well practised and absolute naturals to boot!!!
Our Ruby headed off to St Leonard the Less at Samlesbury where the front gate was decorated with a glorious Heart of Roses, Peonies and Hydrangeas
This is such a historic Church they even have a "Witches" grave stone in the Church Yard complete with stake through the heart.
Two beautifully luscious and fragrant Bay Trees framed the front door
Inside we'd arranged two magnificent "Dome" shaped pedestals in line with our Bride Groom's brief for everything to be neat and tidy and quite spherical
This is one of the few Churches we do where they have Boxed Pews
Inbetween the boxed pews are candlesticks these were dressed with Ivy Trails, Gypsophilia and Ribbon
The Boutonnieres were all lined up ready in the porch for Ruby to pin them on the all important guests![]()
Our uber handsome Bride Groom the lovely Robin was of course first to arrive he was wearing a simply elegant Boutonniere of an Akito Rose with a tiny Dendrobium Orchid to finish

Adorable Page Boys complete with mini Boutonnieres to match the Groom's Men
The beautiful Bridesmaids were next to arrive, all carrying beautifully neat Rose Posies in shades of pink to compliment their vintage rose pink gowns perfectly
How Gorgeous!!
The shades of Roses in the Bouquets were just perfect for the Bridesmaids gowns
The handles of the bouquets were bound in matching ribbon
Our Bride's stylish arrival
Melanie looked truly breathtaking when she arrived at Church with her very proud Dad
Huge Congratulations to Robin & Melanie from all of the team at Flower Design Events
The beautiful Vintage Rose Pink Wedding Bouquet
The Celebrations moved on to the magnificent surroundings of Samlesbury Hall
The Great Hall was dressed with an elegant collection of Crystal table designs
The Top table was elegantly dressed with a traditionally vintage style arrangement and the slightly austere portrait of "Queen Anne" had been replaced by our beautiful "Floral Heart"
Our Crystal Candelabras looked so perfect on some of the tables, a plethora of summer blooms including Peonies, Roses and Hydrangeas topped our crystal candelabras
Around the base of each tall crystal stand was a collection of vases each one filled with a posy of Roses, Peonies or Hydrangeas
The lower table designs were created using our Crystal Cake Plinths topped with "Bosom" of fresh Roses, Peonies and Hydrangeas and surrounded by our tall elegant candlesticks
The fabulous four tier cake was topped by a fresh flower topper
The Traditional Candlelit Top Table design
The Bridesmaid's Bouquets were placed in decorated glass vases and used to extend the Top table's floral decorations

Huge thanks to the Roberts & Myers Families for choosing Flower Design events to create flowers for such a special day, my life won't be the same without a "Myers" Wedding on the horizon, maybe it's time for them to start planning "Vow Renewals"!!!xxx
