Ruby & I had the pleasure of looking after this glorious wedding, it really was such a joy, Gemma & Paul have wonderful taste, they are both truly beautiful and were celebrating this special day in iconic and rather special venues.
~
So the day began with our presentation of Bridal Bouquets to Gemma and her family
Gemma's Bridal Bouquet and Jodie's smaller Bridesmaids Bouquet were created in soft gentle vintage pinks and ivories with exquisite white Peonies, Roses in vintage pink tones including Faith, Sweet Avalanche, Bombastic, Quicksand, 4 Good and Metalina, Astrantia, Lily of the Valley, Palest Pink Hydrangeas, Lissianthus, Sweet Peas and Thalaspi
The handle of the Bridal Bouquet was bound in soft ivory lace
The wedding bouquet carrying lesson went like a dream!!!
I introduced Gemma & Jodie to each flower in their bouquets
Then Ruby & I headed off to St John's Church on The Green just facing the iconic Lytham Windmill
Inside this stunning Church we arranged two huge vintage style pedestal designs on either side of the ceremony space, posies of fresh flowers in jam jars on the ends of each alternate pew end and a Birdcage surrounded by fresh flowers on the Font
Shirl had created the pedestals using tall elegant white Delphiniums, Dr Fleming & Bowl of Cream Peonies, Stocks, Roses, Hydrangeas and Astrantia
The little posies of Stocks, Roses, Lissianthus, Hydrangeas and Astrantia were in jam jars hanging from the Pew ends
The lovely candlelit Birdcage surrounded by Roses, Hydrangeas, Sweet Peas and Roses sat on the Font at the entrance to Church
All of the Boutonnieres were laid out on the table ready for us to pin them onto their rightful owners
Each of the boutonnieres were created individually by Josie & Vicky using a unique combination of flowers taken from the Bridal Bouquet
