The entire Flower Design team have been looking forward to this wedding for ages, Ellie and her gorgeous Mum Sally have been wonderful to look after, we've laughed from beginning to end, Ellie had tons of ideas and bags of passion, this Wedding was always going to be seriously wonderful...

Our first delivery of the day was to the Bride's family home, we presented the Bridal Bouquets; a collection of vintage toned pink shades with Peonies, English Garden Roses from David Austin, Magical Hydrangeas, Sweet Peas, Eucalyptus, Senecio, Albiflora and Astrantia
The all important FD Events Wedding Bouquet carrying lesson
Jason & I headed off to the fabulous West Tower at Aughton to meet Ellie's Bride Groom Chris & his Groom's Men and to set up some pretty special flowers for the ceremony
I hadn't been lucky enough to meet Chris prior to the Big Day and I was not disappointed, Ellie certainly deserves someone very special and Chris certainly fits the bill!! (Not a 'Munter' in the least lolxxx)
Chris was wearing a rather beautiful Boutonniere featuring the most fragrant of David Austin Roses 'Patience' together with fresh Senecio, Blackberries, Astrantia, Hydrangea Florets and a Floribunda Rose
The Groom's Men were all wearing individually created Boutonnieres each one with a different combination of the Bridal flowers
There were four tiny Page Boys and these exquisite little Boutonnieres were created for them
A Memory Lane Rose with Bombastic Buds and Blackberries
The Post Box was dressed with a posy of fresh flowers
Inside the Ballroom the scene had been set for the ceremony with two of our magnificent pedestals at the foot of the aisle, candlelit Hurricane Lamps and fresh fragrant Rose Petals lined the aisle leading up to the Registrars table topped with posies of Sweet Peas & Roses, two magnificently tall designer vases filled with floral loveliness completed the look
The two Pedestals at the foot of the aisle included a plethora of vintage shaded Roses, Peonies, Delphiniums and Hydrangeas
The Designer Vases at the head of the aisle were super tall and elegant with a posy of fresh flowers in the base, then topped with some magical floral magnificence, FD Events style
Posy in the base of the tall vase of Sweet Peas, Delphinium, Hydrangea a Patience Rose and a flourish of Champagne Grass
Along the Registrars Table a series of "Bulb Bottles" in various sizes some dressed with strings of pearls, each one filled with a delicately fragrant posy and then surrounded by fresh Rose Petals
Our tall and beautifully simple Hurricane Lanterns lined the aisle we filled and surrounded each one with fresh fragrant Rose Petals
Candlelit posies on the two side tables completed the floral dressings for the ceremony room

Whilst our Bride & Groom and their guests enjoyed the sunshine, the delicious looking canapes and the fizz a transformation was taking place in the ballroom
The Ballroom
Our tall elegant 'Dahlia' Vase topped with Delphiniums, Roses, Dahlias, Astrantia, Hydrangeas and Gypsophilia was the tall table design of choice
The base of each one was filled with a lovely posy of fresh flowers
Some of the tables were dressed with a lower table design featuring a posy of fresh flowers surrounded by smaller posies and tea light votives
Elegant Crystal Cake stands topped with fresh flowers surrounding a pillar candle was the third table design helping to create a romantic atmosphere for the 'Wedding Breakfast'
On the 'Memory table' fresh flowers and scented candles were set amongst the beautiful pictures
The detail on the wedding cakes was just beautiful
The Top Table design
The Bride's Bouquet took centre stage on the Top Table
We'd lined the Top Table with mirrors and placed the Bridal Bouquet in the centre with 'Bulb' vases containing lovely little posies of fresh flowers and tea light votives along the length of the table
We'd used the Gypsophilia throughout to pick up the 'Polka Dot' design on all of the lovely stationery
Just a quick mention for the fabulous Sandra of West Tower she was so brilliant looking after all of the guests all day!!!xx
Huge thanks to Ellie, Chris and the super glam Sally for choosing Flower Design Events to create Wedding Flowers for such a stupendous day!!!xxxx
