This was always going to be an amazing day, from the first time we met the lovely Sarah and her equally lovely Mum at a Ribby Hall open day we knew it was going to be a "Smasher!!!" I'm not going to apologise for the ridiculous number of pictures in this posting, there was just so much great stuff and we didn't want to miss anything out so I hope you'll enjoy this one....

We join this magical day at the point of the "Big Reveal"& presentation of the Bridal Bouquets, our beautiful Bride Sarah was seriously excited...
The Bouquets were all created in soft vintage pink hues with a glorious collection of Peonies, Orchids, English Garden Roses from the David Austin Nursery , Lily of the Valley, Astrantia, Pink Nigella "Love in the Mist", Albiflora, Sweet Peas and Eucalyptus a heady combination a can tell you.![]()
The all important FD Events Bridal Bouquet carrying lesson followed and was taken very seriously!!xx
Sarah's absolutely gorgeous Mum, I am going to miss these two lovely ladies we've had some fabulous appointments!!xx
Jason and our Josie headed off to Marton United Reformed Church, two beautifully fragrant Bay Trees dressed with sweet scented Stocks and ferns around the base framed the entrance
We'd visited the Church along with Sarah a few months earlier, it's a very modern space but really bright and welcoming, Sarah & her Mum wanted to create a soft and more romantic atmosphere and decided to go all out on the floral embellishments, and what fun we all had creating these lovely designs.
Two magnificent pedestals of Delphiniums, Peonies, Roses, Orchids and Hydrangeas framed the Altar with two smaller designs sitting at the foot of the Altar
On each alternating pew end we had a posy of fresh flowers again including Peonies, Roses, Orchids, Hydrangeas and Astrantia
On the Lectern/Pulpit a spray of fresh flowers dressed it perfectly
At the foot of the aisle two all round Pedestals stood sentry welcoming the guests as they took their seats in Church
At the back of the Church Jason & Josie lined up all of the Boutonnieres and Corsages, these had been ordered by Sarah & Lee for their very important guests
Sarah's handsome Bride Groom Lee was first to have his rather special Boutonniere pinned on it incorporated flowers used in his Bride's Bouquet, every detail had been considered.
The Groom's Men were all presented with Boutonnieres featuring all of the different Roses used in Sarah's wedding Bouquet, in this case a lovely Amnesia Rose with a Snowflake Bud, Astrantia, Thalaspi and Ivy leaves
A seriously important guest Sarah's well travelled Teddy Bear was brought along too
That's better, very smart he looks too with his "Memory Lane" Boutonniere

The Bridesmaids and Brides Mum were first to arrive in a lovely car from Clouds Cars

The Scouts formed a guard of honour as our Happy Couple left Church
A Lucky Chimney Sweep was first to congratulate the new Mr & Mrs Whiteside
The celebrations moved on to the cool, calm and tranquil surroundings of Ribby Hall where the scene was set for a very elegant Wedding Breakfast
A magnificent Top Table design incorporating two large Pillar Candles, fresh Delphiniums, Larkspur, Hydrangeas, Peonies and Roses graced the space in front of where our Bride & Groom would be sitting
Splendid Crystal Candlesticks dripping with long trails of Phalaenopsis Orchids, soft ferns, Roses, Hydrangeas, Delphiniums and Peonies worked the Magic and small posies around the base ensure the guests have something beautiful to look at on the table top.
Two of the fabulous Church Pedestals looked equally as resplendent on either side of the Top TableBeautiful Bouquets to present to the two mums during the speeches were placed just behind the Groom's place

Some of the tables were treated to a luscious garlanded wreath of flowers around a large candlelit Hurricane Lamp
Low Crystal Cake Plinths provided another design idea for the tables, these were topped with a beautiful arrangement of Roses, Peonies, Orchids and Hydrangeas
Our Flower Design Events Baroque Candelabras were the final piece in the table designs jig saw and they looked their usual magnificent selves
