We've had a splendid time planning the flowers for this glorious wedding, Balsam & Chris had to be seriously focused as our very first appointment with these two was only about 5 weeks ago, thank goodness their wedding was on a Wednesday!!! Thankfully the lovely Balsam had a really good idea of the look she was going for and gave us a clear brief and a fair budget to work with, as a result the flowers were in Balsam's own words "Perfect"
~
The plan was to present the Bridal bouquets as our Bride arrived at Ashton Memorial so I had an opportunity to take some pictures of it in this heavenly setting, I included a plethora of sweet scented blooms including Peonies, Lily of the Valley andSweet Peas, fresh Ranunculas, Alchemilla Mollis, Stachys, Balsam's signature flower Gypsophilia and a touch of palest blue Delphinium "Something Blue"completed the design beautifully

Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park Lancaster is perched on top of hill and towers over the magnificent country side, it truly is a magical spot steeped in history
Two of our fragrant Bay trees framed the front door
Once inside the guests were greeted by two pedestals stands topped with huge "Clouds" of Gypsophilia marking the start of the aisle
Posies of Gypsophilia tied with oversized Hessian Bows dressed the end chairs lining the aisle
On the Registrars Tables Balsam's own blue Mason Jars were filled with posies of Gypsophilia, small jars and vessels were placed in between each one containing a posy of beautiful Bridal Flowers
The order of service stationery featured the beautiful blue glass Mason Jars filled with Gypsophilia
Just behind the Registrars table a heart of Gypsophilia hung on the French Windows
In the centre of the aisle just beneath the Rotunda a circular mosaic was framed by two garlands of Gypsophilia
On the table where the Order of Service was being handed out the Bride & Groom's initials were placed we'd created them out of Moss

In the Bar area, posies of Gypsophila decorated all of the low tables

Tall elegant vases topped with huge "Clouds" of Gypsophila dominated the dining tables
