The lovely James Jebson popped in a couple of weeks ago to photograph our team at work creating the flowers for our weddings that weekend and most particularly the designs for Alison & Charles Furnell's Peckforton Castle Wedding.
~
Our Studio is awash with Mood Boards, we have them everywhere including the loo!!! but the wedding we are woking on is always placed on the easel for easy reference throughout the creative process, Charles & Alison's Mood Board depicted a soft and summery colour palette with particular emphasis on the sugary shades of Macaroons, the designs were to be "Country Garden" in style
Our Ruby with fresh fragrant Lilacs in a myriad of shades
Our Shirl creating the foliage base for the ginormous pedestal designs
Our Josie & I were busy sorting and distributing the flowers into buckets to create the designs
I started on the Wedding Bouquets
Beautiful fresh David Austin Roses, Peonies, Ranunculas, Anemones and Viburnum Opulus
Beautiful Sweet Avalanche Roses from the Rolls Royce of growers Meijer
Sweet scented "Norma Jean" Roses named after Maralyn Monroe
One of my all time favourite blooms fresh Lily of the Valley
