The first delivery of the day was to present our truly beautiful Bride Margaret and some of her lovely Bridesmaids with their Bridal Bouquets, they were all getting ready in one of the lovely suites at the fabulous The Clifton Arms Hotel on Lytham Green the venue for this intimate Wedding
Margaret was wearing a beautifully romantic vintage mocha shade and we'd designed her bridal bouquet to tone perfectly, we included Amnesia and Quicksand Roses to pick up the shade of her fabric and then lots of sweet scented Spring blooms including Freesia, Paper Whites, Ranunculas, Hyacinths, Anemones and Tulips with fragrant sprigs of fresh Rosemary in-between and amongst the flowers
Our beautiful Bride looked absolutely perfect and had her make up done by the lovely Jane from Pure Beauty in St Annes
Downstairs in the ceremony room overlooking one of the most stunning views in Lancashire, we'd dressed the ceremony table with a candlelit design which included a single Red Rose and a Single White Rose right at the heart of the design to represent Alan's Lancashire roots and Margaret's Yorkshire ones.
Two of our lovely Baroque style candelabras framed the scene elegantly
We'd lined up all of the boutonnieres and corsages ready for us to pin them on to all of the wedding guests as they arrived
Our Groom was of course having a magnificent Red Lancashire Rose pinned to his lapel
The very handsome Bride Groom the lovely Alan complete with his rather special Boutonniere
Our stunning Bride Margaret with all of her attendants
Carol from the Lancashire Registry Services was conducting the Ceremony she always does a wonderful job and I love listening to her.
Huge Congratulations to Alan & Margaret from all of the team here at Flower Design Events
Entertainment and celebratory drinks were enjoyed by all as a transformation was taking place in the ceremony room
A fabulously long table "Downton Abbey" style was beautifully laid, it was large enough to seat all of the guests, the two candelabras took pride of place at either end of the table and the Registrars design was placed in the centre, we'd supplied dressed vases for all of the Bridal bouquets to sit in and lots of tea light votives provided a romantic and sweet scented atmosphere
We'd placed all of the bouquets in lace dressed vases
The Registrars table design was in the centre of the table and we'd made sure that the Lancashire & Yorkshire Roses were clear to see from both sides of the table
Alan's talented daughter had made and decorated the wedding cake and we'd just finished it off with a few fresh flowers and surrounded it with tea light votives
Huge thanks to Margaret and Alan for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them!!xxx
