Almost a year ago we met up with the fabulous Debbie & Robbie at The Racquet Club in Liverpool to discuss plans for their Winter Wedding, we instantly fell in love with this seriously old school and ridiculously "Gentlemen's Clubesque" venue, it's steeped in tradition and history a wonderfully atmospheric venue, perfect for this great couple, since then we've met a number of times, shared ideas and created samples of the designs we eventually created...

The scene was set, elegantly magical and supremely romantic, Candles and fragrant Rose Petals lined the aisle
Candlelit designs dressed all of the sideboards and fireplaces
Tall forest style designs flanked the fireplace
The Fireplace was dressed with a series of candlelit votives, vases of fresh Arum Lilies, Paper Whites, Ranunculas, Freesias, Hyacinths and Par Excellence Gypsophilia interspersed with varnished fir cones
The Registrars table was also dressed with glass vases reflecting the fireplace dressing perfectly
At the far end of the room one of our "Enchanted Trees" marked the start of the aisle and would later be used as a Wishing Tree
The magnificent sweeping stair case was dressed with swags of voile gathered up and tied with posies of Winter Evergreens, Fir Cones, Gypsophilia, Freesia, Ranunculas, Roses and Anastasia Blooms
Two Forest style designs greeted guests as they alighted the lift
Jason & I headed up to the Bride's Bedroom to present the Bridal Bouquets to Debbie and her Bridesmaids
Debbie looked so fabulous and was thrilled with her Bridal Bouquet of Arum Lilies Columbe De Pays and small Calla Lilies Crystal Blush bound with a band of diamantes
The Flower Girls all carried posies of pretty forest floor blooms including Hyacinths, Helebores, Paper Whites and baby Fir Cones
The guests were all ready and waiting for the arrival of the Bridal Party...
The Bridesmaids all looked heavenly
The beautiful Bride Debbie took everyone's breath away
Massive Congratulations to Debbie & Robbie from all of the team here at Flower Design Events
Sue and the fabulous banqueting team at The Racquet Club turned around the room so effeciently and beautifully we arranged the fresh flowers and candles on the tables creating a magnificent Wedding Breakfast Room
A living sculpture of fresh Arum Lilies, Forest Branches with a touch of frost and sparkle
A glass pedestal topped with clustered pillar candles and glass vases with posies of fresh flowers, evergreens and fir cones
Tall magnificent vases filled with varnished fir cones and topped with upwardly striving Winter forest Branches Columbe de Pays Arum Lilies and a plethora of Evergreens, Brassicas, Hydrangeas, Roses and Giant Fir Cones
The Romantic Top Table for Two was placed just in front of the Fireplace and was dressed with glass candlesticks, posies of fresh fragrant flowers and Fir Cones
