This was such a fabulous wedding day a glorious celebration of good taste, a splendiferous setting and some truly exquisite flowers in beautifully romantic shades.

We tracked down our fabulous Bride the lovely Tina in one of suites at the brilliant Inn on the Lake in Glenridding, my daughter Rebecca & I presented the Bridal Bouquets and introduced Tina to the beautiful Roses in her Bridal Bouquet
I showed everyone how to carry their bouquets
Downstairs the scene was set for the ceremony, our Bride & Groom would be getting married overlooking a seriously magnificent landscape

Two beautiful pedestal designs of Roses and Orchids framed the Registrars desk
Posies of fresh flowers dressed the backs of the chairs lining the aisle
Delicate designs in blown glass and crystal vessels were placed on the Registrars table to complete the look
Tina & Jerry had ordered fresh Corsages and Boutonnieres for their super special guests we lined them up ready to be presented and some cases pinned into place

The Bride Groom's rather special Boutonniere featuring a Faith Rose with Blanchette and For Good Floribunda Roses and fresh fragrant Lily of the Valley
The stem of the Groom's Boutonniere was completed with navy blue shoelace ribbon

I pinned on all of the Boutonnieres and Corsages to ensure perfection
The fabulous Bride's Mum Rosaline looked wonderful and her wrist corsage complimented her ensemble beautifully
The Bridal Party started to make their way to the ceremony room, the little flower girls looked heavenly with their floral crowns and matching nosegays of fresh flowers
Tina really did take everyones breath away her look was so classical and elegant

Tina's Wedding Bouquet included a collection of gently shaded Roses with fresh Lily of the Valley, Sweet Peas, Astrantia and Skeleton Leaves
Everyone enjoyed the Canapes which looked and smelled delicious

The celebrations moved to the marquee next door
We'd dressed the marquee with a combination of high and low table centres which created a real "Wow" when you walked into the marquee
Crystal candlesticks and votives illuminated the top table perfectly
The low Crystal Cake stands were topped with a bosom of fresh Roses, Hydrangeas, Stocks, Tuberosa, Lissianthus, Snowberry and autumn foliages

I loved this exquisite Hydrangea cake from Sugar Ruffles, we'd arranged a mound of white Hydrangeas and autumn leaves for the cake to sit on

Fresh flowers dressed the tall bar stools and candlelit votives looked perfect on the posseur tables in the drinks area
The setting really is breathtaking even more so with the bruised and moody skies of the season
