Super Stylish Wedding Flowers For Tim & Gill at The Inn at Whitewell

0
0

This really was a super stylish wedding, we've looked after Gill and her lovely family's flower needs for about 15 years or so, so it was our huge pleasure and honour to be asked to create her bridal flowers for her Christmas Wedding to the lovely Tim at one of my favourite venues the romantic and cosy The Inn at Whitewell
Gill's Wedding Bouquet was a simple design of luscious 'Red Piano' Roses bound together with natural jute
Our gorgeous Bride was getting ready in one of the suites when we caught up with her to present her bouquet, I showed her how to carry the bouquet creating the perfect silhouette

Gill's sister the lovely Jackie with her fab frock!!xxxx
Downstairs in the restaurant the scene was set with the usual chairs replaced by these reflective and transparent ghost chairs
We'd lined the aisle with our candlelit hurricane lamps and dressed the Registrars tables with a voluptuous collection of ivory Hydrangeas and Avalanche & Snowflake Roses
The Fireplace too was treated to a spectacular and luscious array of Hydrangeas and Roses

To he right of the Registrars Table a collection of tall column vases was topped with Pussy Willow and Magnolia Branches dressed with Fairy lights and then surrounded by fresh Hydrangeas and Blue Spruce
On all of the windowsills and side tables we'd arranged our hand made Blue Spruce miniature Christmas Trees together with candles

The dining room looked completely transformed and utterly magical

Our Beautiful Bride together with her super proud Dad Barry made their way through The Inn

Huge & Ginormous Congratulations to Gill and Tim from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

Whilst the guests enjoyed celebratory drinks in the bar we completed the designs in the marquee, our spectacular floral seating plan greeted everyone ...
We'd created a rich and vibrant frame to surround the simple seating plan of Roses, Hydrangeas, Skimmia, Rose Hips and Ranunculas

On each table we'd placed beautiful clear glass column vases filled with huge bundles of single variety blooms, this design was inspired by the stunning work of Jeff Leatham who creates the wonderful designs at George V in Paris

On each place setting we'd laid a fragrant cluster of Blue Spruce, Cinnamon and Ilex tied up with jute
Amid the vases of fresh flowers, red orbs, gold tea light votives and drifts of ruby red rose petals dressed the table tops
 Grand Prix Roses
 Tamango Roses
 Ruby Ranunculas
 Red Crab Apples and Roses

 Amaryllis Royal Velvet
 Red Hot Chilli Peppers

 Rose Hips 'Red Sensation'

 'Red Piano' Roses

Red Ilex Verticularta towered over each table
 Red Parrot Tulips 'Rococo'
On all of the Ladies place settings were Initial Christmas Tree Baubles

The great folks from'The Word is Love'had provided illuminated initials
After the ceremony we moved the tall column vases to either side of the Seating Plan, they provided much needed light now that it had become completely dark

The Fairy lights in the ceiling of the marquee were provided by the great folks from 'Add a touch of Sparkle'

The stunning cake was created by Cheryl from'Too nice to slice'

Our work here was done it was time to leave the party in full swing, huge thanks to Tim & Gill for asking us to create their Wedding Flowers for them!!!!xxxxxx

Splendidly Floral Wedding Day of Jo & Will as Captured by Christian Allen Photography at The Grand Hotel St Annes

0
0
This was a very special wedding day way back in September, our Bride & Groom were tying the knot at St Mary's Church in Alsager and then celebrating afterwards at The Grand here on the coast.
 ~
The plan was for our Bride to collect her bouquets & Boutonnieres from us the evening before and we would decorate The Grand in time for their arrival the following day, a heat wave ensued and our plans were dashed.
~
Saving the day, their wonderful photographers Christian & Rhona Allen offered to collect them from us before breakfast, thankfully Rhona's a dab hand at pinning on Boutonnieres and of course the lovely Christian is pretty brilliant at photography, what a joy it is to share their superb images of such a stunning wedding day!!!!
~

We loved and adored Jo's beautiful Bridal Bouquet we'd included a plethora of late summer blooms in soft hazy hues of Heather, Lavender and Lilac with some delicate pink shades warming the colour palette perfectly
This Beautiful Bridal Bouquet was created from a collection of vintage toned Roses; Memory Lane, Cool Water, Amnesia and Metalina, Hydrangeas, fresh Herbs Oregano, Mint, Lavender and Rosemary, fresh Phlox, Astrantia, Dancing Grasses and the last of the Summer's Peonies and Sweet Peas, the handle of the bouquet was bound in lace and clasped with a vintage brooch
The Adult Bridesmaid's Posies included more ivory shades to ensure contrast against their lavender gowns, we'd bound their handles with the same fabric as the dresses with a lace band and a vintage brooch
The super glam Groom's Mum was wearing Blue we'd created a corsage to tone. And for this lovely collection of Flower Girls as their dresses were ivory the more lavender shades predominated in their heavenly bouquets
The lovely Flower Girl's Posies were miniature versions of the Bride's Bouquet

The Bridal party arrived looking breathtaking

Inside Church Jo's handsome Bride Groom William along with his Best Man were waiting patiently, their boutonnieres matched the bridal bouquets perfectly
So gorgeous!!!!xxx

Huge & Ginormous Congratulations to Joanna & William from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

The celebrations then moved to our glorious coastline captured so beautifully by the brilliant Christian Allen Photography

Our tall designer vases are truly magnificent and certainly add to the theatrical spectical of the day

I can't begin to tell you how lovely these two are, they have been an absolute joy to look after florally, I know we're going to miss them.
Very annoyingly I had, had a bit of fall and have my hand all bandaged up, I was banished to my office and desk duties only for the day, as a consequence Ruby took my place alongside Jason to present the Bouquets and place all of our designs in Church and at the venue on the big day, I was to say the least rather miffed but so excited to see the pics our dynamic duo had managed to capture of our flowers yesterday.
~
Our fabulous Bride and her Bridesmaids were all getting ready at the exceptionally good West Tower at Aughton Wedding Venue

I'd made the Bouquets with more than just a nod to the Season they really are a collection of all that is great and good at this time of year, the flowers and foliages have a feeling of 'new beginnings' fresh starts and the promise of beauty and wonder to come.
Our gorgeous Bride Katie (No-one should look this good in rollers it shouldn't be allowed)
Katie's Bouquet was slightly more vibrant than her sample bouquet which was made a good few weeks ago before many of these blooms had started their season, fresh Peach Blossom ensured a brighter pink vibe as did the sweet scented Hyacinths, Ranunculas, Heather, English Garden Roses, Viburnum Opulus and Tinus with limey green Hypericum Berries and Acacia foliages completed this luscious wedding bouquet
Jason conducted our Bridal Bouquet carrying lesson an essential part of the Flower Design service

Easter Saturday Wedding Day of Abi & Alasdair at St John's Church Lund and Staining Golf Club's Marquee

This was such a beautiful wedding, an all white palette was eventually decided upon after a lot of discussion and it couldn't have looked prettier given the glorious blue skies and spring sunshine.
~
I had the great pleasure of presenting the bouquets to our stunning Bride and her Bridesmaids, a collection of the most exquisite blooms were gathered into gorgeous bouquets of sweet scented heavenliness; White Peonies, Lily of the Valley, Sweet Peas, Ranunculas, English Garden Roses and Orchids were amongst the jewels of the season we had the pleasure of working with
Abi's breath was well and truly taken away when I handed over her bouquet

An all ivory Bridal Bouquet of White Peonies, Lily of the Valley, Sweet Peas, Ranunculas, English Garden Roses, Hydrangeas and Orchids
We attached the Bride's own crystal brooch to the handle of the bouquet which we'd bound with satin and lace leaving some of the stems naked and exposed creating a naturally gathered vibe

The Brides Mum's ivory and navy ensemble was completed with a floral brooch of Forget Me Nots, Muscari, Rose Buds and Eryngium with a touch of sparkle

The Bridesmaids & Child Bridesmaid's Bouquets were smaller versions of the Bridal Bouquet and the little Flower Girl's carried heart shaped Magic wands surrounded by fragrant Sweet Peas and Lily of the Valley
The Groom's Mum's Corsage comprised of rolled Amnesia Rose Petals, Astrantia florets, '4 Good' Rose buds, Thalaspi, Champagne Grass and Ivy leaves with a touch of diamante sparkle
The Bride Groom's rather special Boutonniere included a David Austin Rose 'Patience', fresh Sweet Peas, Hydrangeas, Snowflake Rose Bud and Champagne Grass all bound with lace and satin to compliment his Bride's Bouquet
Auntie Stephanie's Lapel Corsage was designed to match her blue and aqua dress, we combined gloriously fragrant Muscari with Snowflake Rose Buds
Auntie Lynn's Corsage of Snowflake Rose Buds and Blue Eryngium Thistles was finished off with a touch of diamante sparkle and pink satin ribbon to match her outfit
The Bride's Grandma's corsage in silver greys, black and ivory comprised of Senecio, Albiflora, Snowflake Rose Buds and black gemstones
The two Page Boys Boutonnieres were miniature versions of the Groom's Men's Boutonnieres one included Rose Buds & Hydrangeas and the other Ranuncula and Rose Buds

Each of the Groom's Men's Boutonnieres were created from the flower palette used to create the Bridal Bouquets, however a unique combination of flowers was used for each one

One of our fabulous fresh Floral Hearts greeted the guests as they arrived in the Spring sunshine at St John the Evangelist Church Lund
Inside this beautiful Church we were greeted warmly by the wardens and the lovely Vicar too, it really was great joy to be there.
At the head of the aisle two of our fabulous Pedestals framed the ceremony space perfectly, a plethora of cascading Phalaenopsis Orchids sat amid Avalanche Roses, sweet scented Stocks and white Hydrangeas, all quite magnificent, added to this the Church had been dressed magnificently for Easter so the look was opulent and glorious

On each alternate Pew End we tied posies of fragrant Hyacinth, Roses, Tulips, Ranunculas and Hydrangeas creating a truly scented welcome

Auntie Stephanie was first to have her corsage pinned to her jacket and very lovely she looked too

Isla carried a 'Heart Magic Wand' surrounded by Sweet Peas, Ranunculas and Lily of the Valley

Deers, Stags and a Woodland Vibe for Becky & Philip's Fabulous Wedding Day at St Michael's & The Inn at Whitewell

0

I thought it best to start at the very beginning with this fabulous Wedding and show you Becky & Philip's fabulous Mood Board and the set of sample designs we created for their third appointment with us
The whole family came along to view the designs we'd created
Becky sample Bridal Bouquet of Vintage Roses, Hydrangeas, Ranunculas, Eryngium Thistles and Eucalyptus
Philip's sample Boutonniere featured an Amnesia Rose with Pussy Willow, Eryngium and Mimosa Acacia foliage
A table design suggestion utilising the Bridesmaids posy
Becky loved our Baroque Candelabras and wanted to see if they could blend with the other more woodland styled designs

Our Enchanted Tree was also up for discussion
Bell jars and woodland vases help to bring the ideas on their mood board to life

Becky and Philip eventually decided upon a combination of  all of the designs we'd created at the samples appointment, to be fair it was pretty hard to select one thing and we made sure that they all worked together with a clever fusion of rustic and glamour!!!
~
At long last the big day arrived and I had the huge pleasure of presenting the Bridal Bouquets to Becky and her Bridesmaids up in one of the rooms at The Inn at Whitewell.
~
Becky's 'real' Bridal Bouquet could include some stunning blooms that weren't in season at the time of making her sample bouquet, what a joy it was to have the first of the season 'Bowl of Cream' Peonies and some sweet scented ivory Sweet Peas alongside all of the other important ingredients, vintage Roses, Hydrangeas, Ranunculas, Eryngium Thistles and Eucalyptus

Becky was delighted with her glorious Wedding Bouquet

I showed the Bride and her lovely Bridesmaids how to carry their Bouquets perfectly

I headed off next door to St Michael's Church where a Wreath of flowers created a luscious "Welcome Ring" on the gate

It was a day made more luscious by the early drenching of Spring rain, but that soon cleared up the nearer we got to 'Wedding time'
Inside the porch a selection of random placements were arranged on both of the stone benches
A collection of lanterns, posies and planted urns
Our vintage suitcase was filled with a heavenly Spring garden

Pieces of bark, fresh ferns, Roses and Ranunculas

Helebores and Grasses and Roses

I loved using Narcissus 'Bridal Crwon' Roses, Hyacinths and Wax Flower Blossom

Our Candlelit Orbs were hanging from our Enchanted Trees

The Windowsills were illuminated by candlelit lanterns and random rustic vessels filled with fresh flowers or plants
We adored Becky & Phil's Deer and Stag motif that appeared on all things throughout the wedding

I lined up the Boutonnieres ready to pin them on to the important guests as they arrived

Becky's seriously handsome Bride Groom was the very first to have his Boutonniere pinned to his lapel
Becky's Mum's Wrist Corsage of Rolled Amnesia Rose Petals, Blue Forget Me Nots, Astrantia, Hydrangea Florets and Viburnum Blossom

This is such a beautiful wedding, I have, love, love, loved working with the fabulous Marie-Louise creating her dreamy Bridal flowers, she'd chosen truly delectable shades so delicately put together to create a sumptuous feast for the eyes, if that wasn't enough, the fragrance was heavenly too.
I'd had the enormous pleasure of working with natures very own 'Perfumery Department' sweet scented Lily of the Valley, divinely fragranced Sweet Peas, perfumed English Roses and to top it off the sensuous scent of Peonies
Jason and Ruby had the enviable task of presenting our Bride with her Bridal Bouquet
Jason did the Wedding Bouquet carrying lesson

The fabulous and super cool Dan Wootton of Dan Wootton Photography was capturing all of the magic, we can't wait to see his images of this stunning day.

The Wedding Bouquet included Palest Pink and Ivory Peonies, fresh Lily of the Valley, Ranunculas, English Garden Roses Keira & White O'Hara, Sweet Peas, Astrantia, Senecio and Sweet Avalanche Roses

Ruby pinned on the Bride's Father's Boutonniere
In the Piano Bar downstairs small bowls of Roses and Sweet Peas dressed the Bar tables perfectly

The Bar vase looked beautiful and included Delphiniums, Roses, Hydrangeas and Peonies
Fresh flowers dressed every surface

Inside the Ceremony Room the scene was set with a myriad of fresh fragranced flowers
Each windowsill was decorated with tiny posies of fresh blooms in clear glass vases
At the foot of the aisle a magnificent design of Delphiniums, Roses, Peonies, Hydrangeas and Orchids greeted the guests as they entered the room

Framing the Fireplace and Registrars table two elegant pedestal designs stood like sentrys
Candlelit Hurricane Lamps and fragrant Rose fresh Petals lined the aisle

Simply delectable posies of fresh flowers dressed the Registrars table perfectly
Peonies and Ranunculas

The Flower Girl's and Bridesmaid's made their way downstairs looking gorgeous

Our beautiful Bride looked breathtaking
Marie-Louise was wearing the most lovely pink gown, I'd created a gorgeous Wedding Bouquet of the most heavenly flowers for her to compliment the lace and shades so perfectly
The little Flower Girl carried a little posy and a basket of Rose Petals to sprinkle down the aisle ahead of the Bride

Huge and Ginormous Congratulations from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

The Bridesmaid's and Flower Girl's Bouquets were all created as smaller versions of the Bridal Bouquet
Inside the Hall a transformation had taken place, the dining tables were dressed with a combination of high and low table designs
Tall and elegant Crystal candlesticks topped with floral magnificence, Delphinium Elatum, Roses, Orchids, Peonies and Hydrangeas dominated the design whilst on the table top lots of small vases, floating candles and votives created a romantic atmosphere
The lower deisgn featured a crystal cake plinth topped with a bosom of fresh flowers surrounded by posies and crystal candlesticks

White Peonies
Pink Ranunculas

Sweet Avalanche Roses

Along the length of the Top Table a series of crystal and glass vases were arranged on mirrors each one containing a small posy of fresh flowers or a floating candle

Jason and I went to meet up with Debbie and John for the first time only a few weeks ago at the fabulous Inn at Whitewell we hit it off straight away and I knoew exactly the look the y were wanting for their special day.

Debbie had a painting of a Bride carrying a bouquet exactly like the one we made for her, an elegant bouquet of Arum lilies bound with satin and studded with seed pearls

Downstairs in The Orangery the scene was set with simple vases of exquisite white blooms on all of the windowsills and in clusters on the Registrars table

Delicately fragrant Sweet Peas filled the room with their exquisite perfume

Last Friday the wonderful and fantastical 'Bite Club' team hosted an evening of Burgers & Bingo to help our fundraising efforts, massive and ginormous thanks to them, the evening raised over £600 and we honestly can't thank them enough!!!
~
They are the utterly fabulous Shannon Kuspira, Nadine Rawson, Chrisy Taylor, Tony Collier, Andrea Gillet,  Sue Samme, Ollie Symonds and Eleanor Sharples

The event was supported by some super ace folks too, the brilliant and talented 'Papi' aka roger Taylor from Tatt Lighting, he does create bespoke designs for weddings too and to say they are super cool would be an understatement!!!!
The Attik came up with some great furnishing ideas to transform Shannon's bedroom into a bar....

The Photo Booth from The Mighty Boof raised £50 on the evening & the brilliant Zo Taylor from ZT Photography has provided the majority of these spectacular images

We did a bit of 'Flower Design' decorating with a Bingo vibe!!
Bottles with Rosemary & Thyme inside topped with a Bingo Ball

Posies of Roses & Hydrangeas in Tommy K pots

 The Menu was delicious!!xx

The Mighty Boof Photo Booth is a really cool addition to any event!!xx
 So the scene was set
The first to arrive was 'Mr January' himself James Jebson with his lovely wife Gemma
I did a bit of a sales pitch for the Calendars with 'Mr February' aka Jason at my side

The amazing Janet Walker called the Bingo!!!xxx

The Burgers were cooked on BBQs outside and were ridiculously delicious
A little too much hilarity from Grace on her view of the Calendar!!!
